West Virginia Joins States Not Requiring Gun Carriers To Have Permits Or Training

Despite the objections of West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and law enforcement officers, the West Virginia House officially tossed out this month permit and training requirements for people over 21 who want to carry a concealed weapon, overriding the governor’s veto. (more…)

Last weekend in Aurora, Colorado a juvenile was rushed to the hospital after a shooting at a Starbucks. (The same Aurora where 82 were shot at the movies.) Police said there were no arrests or suspects. Was it an “accident”? (more…)

Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s appearance before a Senate Appropriations subcommittee last week confirms—yet again—what we have stated in prior updates; It is a fairy tale to think that Congress will ever pass any law that will reduce gun violence.
